Almaaz is a cutting-edge medical clinic in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, offering IV therapy, medical weight loss, hormone replacement and genetic testing under the direction of an endocrinologist. The idea behind it is simple: hormone health is what wellness is actually made of and it deserves to be treated by an expert. All this in a space you truly enjoy visiting.
The ways we work
No consultation needed: IV therapy and genetic testing
Our IV therapy treatments were designed and approved by our medical director. Before each session, a nurse assesses you and clears you for treatment. Sessions take 30 to 60 minutes, in our IV lounge or wherever you are through our Mobile IV. Members of the Membership come in every month.
Genetic testing can be booked standalone. The sample is collected at the clinic and when your results are received, they are explained to you by the doctor.
By consultation: weight loss and hormone replacement
Both offerings start with an evaluation with our medical team before any prescriptions are written. Your progress will be measured regularly and your prescription optimized during follow-up sessions. See Weight loss and Hormone replacement.
The name
Almaaz is a star in the constellation Auriga, the Charioteer. From here it looks like a single point of light. Up close, it is two bodies orbiting each other, in balance, for millions of years. Our logo is those two circles in orbit: the life of each person who comes to us, and the field of medicine, always crossing. Nothing stands still. Not in the sky, not in the body.
